INTERMEDIATE 2: A language barrier

When you can’t communicate in the same language easily, you can use some strategies for it.
First of all in a conversation, you must speak slowly and clearly. If you are not 100% sure you’ve understood what others say, politely ask for clarification. Use gestures and facial expressions can be useful too.
When you want to learn a foreign language, music can be a very effective method for me. Actually, there are several internet sites where one can find the words for most songs. This way you can practice your listening and reading at the same time. And if you like to sing, it's better.
Also, you can use the dictionary or make questions to your classmates about the words that you don’t understand. You may practice grammar, vocabulary and do exercises too; well you can improve your knowledge of any language.
Finally, you don't worry that you don't say things correctly. The fastest way to learn anything is to do it, again and again until you get it right. Like anything, learning foreign language requires practice. Don't let a little fear stop you from getting what you want.
